  2. Review • Reviewed progress over last two years since expansion in November 2010 • Recognition of amount achieved by team “Professionalisation”

  3. Our model Agreement that.... - long-term commitment - in-depth model of mentoring - quality of provision and support .....are all essential to what we do and are at the heart of our model.

  4. Long-term vision Agreement that we should be aiming to deliver our service nationwide 2013-18 Main aim: Set up additional project/s outside of London. Continue to grow.

  5. Other areas to develop Research and evidence base: • Additional resources for internal evaluation • Leading authority and information source for research on mentoring Campaigning voice: • Promoting our model of mentoring • Importance of good adult support in childhood

  6. Other areas to develop Training & support for other organisations: • Training for other organisations providing youth mentoring • Database support • Monitoring and evaluation support • Helping companies provide peer mentoring

  7. Resources • Each new project will be properly resourced • We will be taking on additional staff to manage and deliver new areas of work • Nothing is going to happen before next Wednesday

  8. Next steps • Work with the board to develop plans • Aiming for draft plans for 2013-18 by the autumn of this year • Will keep you all posted with developments • Please ask me or Jeni if you have any questions
