OUR PURPOSE: • To establish a society open to the general public • To encourage, and further knowledge of Polish culture, traditions, history, language, arts, current affairs, and local events through cultural activities, classes, seminars, and any and all appropriate means • To foster friendly relations between the American and Polish people

UT – Austin 2013 Polish Events & Speakers • Slavs and Tatars- PayamSharifipresented a lecture • Dr. DariuszPachockipresented a talk on: “Edward Stachura, Polish Writer and Bard: Writer and Wanderer” • Professor Leszek Balcerowicz presented a lecture entitled, “Poland after Socialism: Economic Problemsand Prospects in and Beyond theEurozone”. The event was followed by a reception.

  19. APS promotes Polish artists • Andrew Nagorski-Polish American Author was presenting his book: “Hitlerland: American Eyewitnesses to the Nazi Rise to Power.” • Julia Zarembawas presenting :“Ciao, Austin – Ciao, Ancona. “
