  2. Brief History • On 10th February 2009, the Committee agreed to proceed with the development of a website. • EHS agreed to assist in the development of the site. • A Probus sub-committee was formed and subsequently provided an issues paper to EHS. • Following meetings with EHS the Sub committee forward a website structure. John Martin, Kevin Grant, Geoff Lewis, Jim Jacobs, Rick Crofts and myself.

  3. Work continued through 2009 and 2010 with several meetings with EHS. • In May 2009 the Club registered the name www.engadineprobus.org.au and the Club signed up with Webcity to host our site. • The project was formally handed over to Probus late October 2010. • The Committee has formally acknowledged the contribution by EHS to our project.

  4. Throughout the project the Committee has acknowledged that not all members have access to a computer or “surf the net”. • Computers play an important part in our lives and if through this project we are able to build on your skills or even introduce you to the world of computers then it is a good thing.

  5. Website • The Website is divided into 2 sections – front end and back end. The back end is where all the information is entered and nominated people will have different levels of authorisation to enter information. • The front end is for all users.
