Join Sarah Miller, Chris Pfund, and Kimberly Tanner in this engaging session aimed at transformation within educational institutions. Participants will collaborate with their teams to construct a framework for ongoing discussions and learning stemming from the Summer Institute. Key initiatives include enhancing teaching support, fostering engagement with scientific teaching materials, and organizing scientific teaching events in the upcoming academic year. Reflect on common strategies, goals, and surprising insights, and identify innovative ideas to implement within your own institution.

Session Outcomes • Participants will work with their institutional teams to develop a framework to: • Continue thinking and talking about what we have learned at the Summer Institute. • Build teaching support mechanisms and engagement with ST material so we continue to improve our skills in scientific teaching. • Hold a scientific teaching event (or events) during the next academic year.
Reflection • What commonalities did you see in the strategies, goals, events, obstacles or resources? • What, if anything, most surprised you? • What idea will you most likely steal?
