  2. CPI APTA CLINICAL PERFORMANCE (CPI) • Standardized • Valid • Used by most PT schools in the nation • Need to take online course 1x only • Good for all future PT students

  3. CPI If you completed the online CPI training while you were a student in PT school, you will not need to complete it again (Although if it has been years, it might not hurt) I will, however, need: 1. Your school CPI Username 2. Your new username (current email)

  4. CPI-Training If you need to complete the CPI training-here is how: APTA.org  Careers & Education  APTA Learning Center  Courses (Red bar)  Topic  Education  Online: 2012 PT CPIView full description Member $0.00 Nonmember $0.00PURCHASE NOW  Purchase ($0.00)

  5. CPI-Training Go back to “MY COURSES” (Orange bar)  Choose Online PT CPI  On the green sidebar click “Content Launch”

  6. CPI-Training • Takes about 2 hours • Gives 2 free hours of CEUs • No need to renew • Your username is your email address

  7. CPI Mechanics • Once you notify us of your Username, GFU will contact CPIweb for access • They review the status of your training and then they give GFU the ability to pair you with your student/intern.

  8. Student Assessment MIDPOINT SITE FACULTY VISITS • Review issues from CPI • Midpoint is a FORMATIVE Student assessment • Provides time for feedback about the program

  9. Student Assessment Final CPI is Summative-Grade based on your assessment of the student in the clinic: (the DCE assigns the grade.) • PDPT 580 rating of “Beginner” or above in all criteria. • PDPT 680 rating of “Advanced Beginner” or above in all criteria. • PDPT 780 rating of “Intermediate” or above in all criteria. • PDPT 781 rating of “Advanced Intermediate” or above in all criteria. • PDPT 782 rating of “Entry Level” or above in all criteria
