The Coverage Exchange Initiative Goal • -To establish a standardized process/format by which all carriers can exchange coverage information. map • The end result should serve both carriers with mapping teams and those who outsource their mapping needs. • The final format of the official data will be based on feedback from the carriers.

Map Why is this important The Benefits of standardizing coverage data • Provides reduced data maintenance costs • Allows for easy access to information • Improves communication and coordination between carriers • Provides uniformity in coverage data between carriers. • Increases revenue opportunities through roaming awareness

  4. Carrier Responsibilities • Each Carrier will be responsible for submitting their coverage information in the agreed upon format quarterly. • Carriers will be responsible for providing feedback on what the “official” data format will consist of. • Carriers will be asked to attend bi-weekly group meetings to discuss this initiative further.
