CSIR NET Earth Science : Detail Syllabus and Paper Pattern
The Selection for award of JRF shall be made based on a competitive written test called the National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by CSIR at national level. This exam is conducted twice in a year What is CSIR NET Exam ?

CSIR NET Exam consist only one objective type question paper which is divided into three sections Part : A General Paper Part B and Part C: Based on the subjects
Part 1: General paper • Common for all the subjects • Paper Type: MCQ (Multiple choice Questions) • Maximum Marks: 30 Negative Marking: 0.50 • Total no. of Question: 30 (Out of which 15 must answer) • Each carry 2 marks • Total Time: 3 Hours
Part 2: Subject Related: Earth Science • Type: MCQ • Level: Less difficult • Total no. of Questions: 50 • Maximum Marks: 70 • Need to attempts: 35 question • 2 marks for each question
Part 3: Subject Related: Earth Science Total Question: 80 Level: Difficult No. of Attempts 25 questions Each question: 4 marks Maximum marks: 100
