    2. Cell Structure Eubacteria are prokaryotic. That means that they are very simple cells with no nucleus.

    3. Number of Cells Eubacteria cells are unicellular, containing just one cell. They do, however like to team up with other bacteria cells in pairs or chains. We use how many hook up together to classify them. There are 3 basic shapes of bacteria:

    4. Cocci-sphere shaped

    5. Bacillus- rod shaped

    6. Spirillum- spiral shaped

    7. Movement Most bacteria do not move, but some do have long whip-like tails called flagella to propel them through water.

    8. Nutrition Eubacteria are consumers. That means they rely on other organisms to eat. Many are pathogens and can make you sick. Others are actually helpful to us.

    9. Reproduction Eubacteria reproduce through binary fission. That means that they divide into two new bacterial cells that are exactly the same. That is unless it mutates.. This type of reproduction is called asexual reproduction.

    10. Different Bacterial Diseases Typhoid, Cavities, Tuberculosis, Leprosy, Tetanus, Whooping Cough, Cholera. Bubonic Plague, Meningitis, Pneumonia, Anthrax, Botulism, Dysentry, Diarrhea, Salmonella, Other types of food poisoning, Diptheria, Typhus, Lyme Disease, Scarlet Fever, Strep throat, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Ulcers, MRSA, Brucellosis, and Gangrene.

    11. In your kingdom book, please draw, color, and label the three different shapes of bacteria.
