Aims • To construct complete racks to represent the two types of installation • ATLAS/CMS • ALICE/LHCb • Including • A representative set of subracks • Electrical distribution • Cooling • Control • To allow studies to be made on: • Rack control • Subrack installation • Cable management • Cooling Rack Coordination

Status • Three racks are in place in 4-S-060 • One ATLAS/CMS rack • One ALICE rack • One LHCb rack • Cooling water connections • Next week • Electrical connection • ATLAS/CMS done – Canalis + distribution chassis • ALICE/LHCb next week • Control • See other report • Rack equipment • Rack attachments – waiting on delivery of parts • Heat exchangers – delivered, problem with water connections • Turbine chassis – waiting on prototypes • VME subracks • 9U water cooled – available • 9U air cooled – available • 6U water cooled – available • 6U air cooled – available • Installation complete for the end of the year • Available to experiments for installation tests, etc. – January Rack Coordination
