  8. Master (MSc) of Environmental and Energy Management (MEEM) • Preparing students for professional roles of environmental researcher, consultant and/or environmental policy position. • Combining social sciences and natural & engineering sciences

  9. The accreditation panel: “.. the MEEM is an ambitious two semester program…. based on many years of experience and expertise covering both the academic as well as the professional field”

  10. Master (MSc) of Environmental and Energy Management (MEEM) From 2000 until now: 160 students, representing 40 nationalities Over 90% originate from non-western countries in Africa, Asia and South America

Internationalization some current initiatives • Master of business administration for Chinese students, in cooperation with Hunan university • Master of business administration for Indonesian students, in cooperation with Institute of Technology Bandung Indonesia • A focus in existing masters on Asian Management and Governance Studies

  12. Internationalization postgraduate / continuing education • Combining UT-ITC contacts and competencies • Extending and broadening relationshipswith alumni • Societal impact of a combined, academic and professional orientation (in a context of globalisation) • Contributing to reach Millennium Development Goals
