Summer reading requirementsfor students entering Grade 8 • Read 3-4 personal choicebooks (*Level One L.A. students must read a minimum of 4 books) • Keep a reading log (use the online log at WPL) of all the books read and number of pages read • Turn in your reading log, signed by a parent, to your language arts teacher in the fall • Find forms/info @ the Wethersfield Schools website

Teen Summer Reading Program @ Wethersfield Public Library • Registerfor the online book review program • READ great books, log your reviews online beginning June 30th *(and ending August 18th) • Read and Write. For every book review you add online, your name is entered for a weekly prize drawing of a $15 Barnes and Noble gift card • For every 3 books read, you get entered into the grand prize raffle to win four pack of movie tickets and soda and popcorn voucher • Read and record five books, you will be entered into the super grand prize raffle, an Amazon Kindle HD! Read and record five more—earn another chance. Five more—another chance! Earn as many as you can!

Set a Goal: • School goal: SDMS Students will read 2,400 books • Staff goal: SDMS staff will read 300 books • Ms. Poulos’ goal: 25 books (20 YA, 5 adult) • Finish the Teen Nutmegs and High School Nutmegs What is your personal goal? Number of books? Ask us if I met my goal when you come back to school in August!
