  3. Where is the Learning Centre? • In the Central Core next to the atrium • On 3 floors Across the Bridge

  4. When can I go? • Free time between lessons • Class time with tutor’s permission • Evenings • Holidays Any time

  5. How do I use the Learning Centre? • Observe the code of conduct: • Respect other students and staff • No eating. No drinking near the computers • Bottled water only at study tables • Keep mobile phones on silent mode • Use earphones to listen to music • Use computers for coursework only • Use the Centre quietly, for work only With Respect

  6. How do I use the Learning Centre? • Attend an Induction to learn more • Pick up or print a leaflet • Watch a video tutorial • Ask the staff for help • Use the maps and guiding signs • Search the OPAC library catalogue for resources

  7. What’s in the Learning Centre? • Lots of different types of resources: • Individual and group study spaces • Books including access to e-books • Journals or magazines • DVDs and Videos • Computers • Mono & Colour Printing / photocopying machines • Scanners • Accessibility equipment
