  7. What makes a good TT article? • Hyper local content tied directly back to Olympia, DuPont, Elma, and Shelton • Unique story or a different angle • Seasonal or timely stories • Inclusion of high quality photos that quickly describe the content • Social media following or activity

  8. Submitting Story Ideas • Submit 3-4 story ideas by September 27. • Include a brief description on why you think the idea would make a good story. • Be ambitious!

  9. Project Timeline September 27 – Students pitch ideas. October 4 – TT assigns stories. October 18 – Students first drafts due. November 1 – TT provides comments. November 15 – Students second drafts due. November 27 – TT provides comments. December 13 – Final drafts due. December/January – TT publishes stories.
