  1. Review Sheet to Complete DuPage Interoperability Survey Please bear with us as we attempt to collect as much data as we possibly can for this project. We need this information, to provide both the best and worst case scenarios to the ETSB and Motorola for the development of the DuPage County radio system. When completing the section of employees on duty with radios during a time period, (please indicate the highest number of employees that have radios or access to radios (e.g. records, front desk…) during that time period). If you have any questions, please contact Steve Herron at 630-719-4725, or cell at 630-546-0009. It may be helpful to print these instructions as you fill out the excel file. We must have this information by June 13th, when complete please email the Excel sheet back to Steve Herron at: sherron@vil.woodridge.il.us

  2. If you use the spread sheet, it will calculate the information for us, this will make it much easier. Add your agency’s name Add the total numbers of employees that have radios, or access to radios during the time frame. In this example, 6 officers are on duty, 3 Detectives, 2 CSO’s, etc… These columns will automatically add up

  3. Please enter your current population of your community/jurisdiction, then your population estimate for the year 2025 or 2030 whichever you can get (I got this information from our Economic Development Department) The spread sheet will calculate the estimated increase/decrease and will calculate a percentage increase/decrease. We will be using these numbers to estimate the potential growth of the system.

  4. By ILEAS levels, please place the number of cars which would respond to your community, by county (and some jurisdictions) for an ILEAS call out. As you can see if I were to request a level 2 callout, I would receive 5 DuPage Cars, 1 Willowbrook/Clarendon Hills car, 1 Cook County car, 2 Will County cars and 1 Naperville/Aurora car. We need to have all 10 levels completed as shown in this example These numbers should add up to 5 in this column Again, we will be adding up the total requests in these columns. This number should add up to 50

  5. Many of us are in one or more additional mutual aid organizations, e.g. FIAT, NIPAS or the County Task Force. In the event you request additional aid beyond ILEAS, please enter the number of units that would respond. In this instance, I would get 9 DuPage responses, 1 Willowbrook/Clarendon Hills, 1 Naperville/Aurora and 1from Cook. Please complete all the response levels for your agency. Again, we will be adding up the total requests in the columns.
