Heat Energy Research Theme • ETP has been establishing a new research theme on “Heat Energy” in response to the Scottish Government’s emerging priority in the area of heat energy. • To establish a broad R&D network focusing on heat energy across Scotland, involving both academia and industry. • To provide a point of contact for the Scottish government when such expertise is needed. • To create an interface between the academia and industry • To facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange in this area.

ETP Energy Industry Doctorate Programme • Each doctorate has two supervisors from different universities. • Companies are co-investors, support project specification and engage directly with the research • Average cost - £90k total; Up to £30k from ETP, remainder split between university and industry partner (can be in-kind).
