  2. 2008 Training Budget • $252,152 from grants • Local agencies travel - $17,000 • State agencies travel - $8,000 • Course presentations - $156,970 • Course updates/development – $37,682 • Staffing – training coordinator - $32,500

  3. Metro 4/SESARMCourse Development • Enforcement Case Development and Resolution • New course with student manual, slides, and instructor notes • Targets enforcement case specialists and compliance review personnel • Pilot course March 18-20 (30 students) • Final documents have been delivered

  4. Metro 4/SESARMCourse Update - Ongoing • APTI 350 Asbestos NESHAP Inspection and Safety • New prerequisite self-instructional basic terms and concepts module • Revisions to manuals and other course materials and exercises due end of June • Pilot course September 9-11, 2008 in Florida

  5. Metro 4/SESARMUpdate/Development - Proposal • Inspection and Safety • Update APTI 444 Field Enforcement • Update APTI 446 Inspection Procedures and Safety • Minimum 8 hours of safety training • 3 ½ - 4 days for the two courses combined • Pilot course this fall/winter

  6. Collaboration with EPACourse Development • NSR Lessons Learned • Outgrowth of federal NSR enforcement cases • OECA to develop and present in Southeast week of September 15 • May be a recurrent formal course in the future • 2 days • Travel support (partial) available
