  1. Today Mrs. Sapp and Ms. Clawson will be teaching together Hello Without talking to anyone, draw a line under the last thing in your Writer’s Notebook. Write down all the spelling mistakes you find in this sentence: I beleive that ether Maya or Franklin stoped the ball from goying over the fense ‘cuz no body els was cloze enuf to cach it.

Think About: • Have I used standard English spelling unless I chose not to for a good reason? • Have I checked words with ieand ei? • When adding suffixes to words, have I changed y to i, doubled the final consonant, or dropped the final e when necessary?? • Have I checked my work for words I have trouble spelling?
