Back to the BASICS Part 19 FAITH 4. I John 5. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith. Romans 12.
3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove (gk. – discern, recognize & identify) what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder (one who gives to show gratitude or a WORSHIPPER) of them that diligently seek (gk. INVESTIGATE; CRAVE) him.
22Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that (any) thing which he alloweth.
23And he that doubteth is damned if he eat (do anything), because he eateth (does anything) not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word (RHEMA –spoken word) of God.
4Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
5Now the end of the commandment is charity (agape-love) out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
Fake FAITH (or FEIGNED Faith)
6From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling(ineffective blah-blah-blah);
7Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
29By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying (attempting, trying; by trial and error or to experiment) to do were drowned.
Trying is Dying!!
16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
17(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Genesis 1:3 (LITV)
And God said, Light be: and there was light.
