Troop 317February 2009 Outing Saturday’s Itinerary • Service Projects (3-4 hours) 1) Community Mental Health Clinic Fayetteville, GA 2) Camping MB Conservation Project Camp Thunder / Canoe Base Camp Scouts that are going to participate in this service project need to speak with me!!!! • Troop 317 1st Annual Open Fire Cook-off Competition • Troop Campfire and Scout’s Worship Service

Troop 317February 2009 Outing Sunday’s Itinerary • High Adventure Activities 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM - Rifle Shooting - Shotgun Shooting - Archery - Natural Rock Climbing (Req’s Agreement to Participate) - High Ropes (Req’s Agreement to Participate) - Canoe Trip (Req’s Agreement to Participate) - Fishing - Hiking • Scout Advancements / Free Time • Troop Campfire / Patrol Skits

  4. Troop 317February 2009 Outing Monday’s Itinerary • Pack • Scout Advancement • Depart Camp Thunder / Canoe Base Camp 11:00 AM • Arrive at Bank 1:00 PM

Troop 317February 2009 Outing Additional Information • Food budget for the 3 days is: $30 pp -Plan for 2/3 additional adults - Patrols are responsible for their own paper towels, trash bags, aluminum foil, matches - Need to know if you need a Dutch Oven for the Cook Off • Lunch on Saturday - The service projects are scheduled from 10 AM – 2 PM. There is no time allotted for lunch on this day. Each car going to Fayetteville will address this as they deem necessary. The Scouts can take a bagged lunch, go without lunch or stop as they are returning to Camp Thunder. - All cars and Scouts need to be back at Camp Thunder / Canoe Base Camp by 3 PM.

Troop 317February 2009 Outing Additional Information con’t • Registration - Begins today at www.troop317.net - Register only for 2 activities No need to register for fishing or hiking • Fishing - There are three lakes; one with bass & bream; one principally filled with catfish; and the one is full of carp - License IS NOT required - Bring your own equipment and bait
