Project Description (Phase 1) Aufbau • Comprehensive technology review / assessment and demand analysis • Concept development to provide supportive IT services on mobile devices • Useable on different mobile devices • Useable with different back-end systems • Customizable (front-end, functionality, back-end) and generic • Development of a first prototype covering two or three use-cases • Field test to gain feedback and (im)prove the concept

Review Prototype Field Test • Deliverables: • Equipped 27 students with the prototype, 22 completed the test • 60 % iOS, 25 % Android, 10 % Symbian, 5 % Windows Mobile 6.5 • Display errors only with windows mobile 6.5 and third party browsers on Android • Menu layout needs revision (too many clicks e.g. campus map) • Users demand more personalized information • Some information should be offline available • iOS User demand native App • Users are generally satisfied with the solution / system Deliverables
