  2. We Are Commanded to Witness Because of His work on the cross and resurrection, Jesus is given all power and authority in heaven and earth (Matthew 28:18).

  3. We Are Commanded to Witness Jesus commanded his disciples and commands us to go and share our faith in Jesus Christ with the world(Matthew 28:19a).

  4. We Are Commanded to Witness We are commanded to baptize people who come to Christ in the name of the Trinity – Father, Son and Holy Spirit(Matthew 28:19b).

  5. We Are Commanded to Witness We are commanded to teach those who come to Christ to observe all the teachings that Jesus taught the disciples (Matthew 28:20a).

We must acknowledge God as the Creator of everything and accept our humble position in God's creation.
