  2. Description The Emerald Tree Boa are typically green, with a white irregular zigzag stripe down the back. The bottom is yellow. The emerald tree boa grows to be about 2.20 m long.

  3. Habitat The emerald tree boa is found in the lower Amazon (in Brazil), Guyana and Suriname.

  4. What Do they eat? The emerald tree boa eats birds and rodents.

  5. Reproduction The Emerald Tree Boa has an internal egg gestation of five and a half to seven months time. Females will lay their eggs right at hatching time where sometimes the egg hatches before, during or after they are layed.

  7. Amazing Fact The emerald tree boa is a master at camouflage. He lies extremely still, acting like a collection of leaves. Then when a small animal, such as a bird, bat, flies by, it attacks.
