  1. India Needs to Focus More on the growth of City Wide Rooftop Solar PanelSystem For the growth of rooftop solar panel system in 2015, India has successfully surpassed 1 GW milestone showing near about 113%, resulting in a much growth factoring in the lack of industrial environment in India. According to the latest plan by Central Electricity Authority (CEA) of India, in 2027 about 24 GW rooftop solar capacity will be added. This medium will help in speeding up the installed capacity and executing the operation will need more than just Government backing. India’s rooftop potential stands up to 1,24,000 MW as per the recent statistics study. Moreover, in India, if only 1.3% of the total household is made solar compatible, then around 30% can be easily covered. Thus, for government and private entities, this news should alone serve as an incentive to gear up the rooftop solar PV systems installed in cities and rural areas.

  2. Nevertheless, adopting solar in the major cities the country is yet struggling. States like Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi have failed to continue the progress that had promised to become a favorable environment for rooftop solar growth. In spite of Government offering 30% of subsidy for installing rooftop solar power system and focusing on net-metering. Besides, current 1 GW capacity might fail to convince us of success in reaching the target even if we consider to set it at 40 GW by 2022. Let’s now have a look at the drawback by analyzing city wise rooftop solar growth. Looking at the capital of India, It has estimated 1.25 GW solar potential, where its official target is 1 GW by 2020 and 2 GW by 2025. To its surprise, Delhi has only installed 35.9 MW of solar rooftop capacity, and around 3 MW of that capacity is from residential installations. Likewise, there is around INR 20,000 subsidy in store for domestic consumers in the southern state of India – Tamil Nadu. The rooftop solar power system target is 350 MW out of which approximately 2 MW have installed in the southern state of India. Delay in the growth of rooftop solar power system clearly illustrated in the above scenario. The Indian rooftop solar capacity consists of 377 MW industrial, 263 MW commercial and just about 260 MW residential installations from the current 1GW. As a result, the growth of rooftop solar power system is concentrated on large-scale utility sector and commercial arsenals, keeping the ordinary people inadvertently from the solar revolution. As the primary purpose behind the solar revolution is to spread light to the furthest corners of the country has now become a drawback. By harnessing the power of solar energy, SaveGeo Energy provides efficient, state- of-the-art rooftop solutions to help organizations and homeowners reduce their carbon footprint in a cost-effective and eco-friendly manner. An individual can transform its rooftop into a solar power plant with the help of our rooftop solutions

  3. which is an excellent source of solar energy, for both commercial and residential consumers. We provide not only rooftop solutions, but also offer on-grid solar systems and off-grid solar systems.
