  2. Basketball • Basketball - sport team event in which two five-person teams play against each other trying to score points by putting the ball in the basket. It is one of the most popular and most watched sports in the world. The beginning of this game is considered a December of 1891, and James Naismithisitsinventor.

  3. Teams • To play basketball you need two teams made up of 5 players. The purpose of each of these teams is to score points by puttingthe ball in the opponents' basket. The opponent should prevent the other team fromscoringpoints. Theleadofficialcontrols the gameallthe time. The team winsthematchwhenplayers of that team scoremorepointsthantheother team withinthe limit of time.

  4. Playing field • The playing court shouldhave hard and flat surface. FIBA’sdimensions state thatthecourtmust be 28 meters by15 meters. Side lines should be clearly visible, have the same color and width of 5 centimeters. In the middle of thecourtthereshould be the center line, parallel to the end lines. In the middle of the central linetheremust be the circle. The radius of this circle is 1.8 meters. The three-point line is the line that separates the two-point area from the three-point area; any shot converted beyond this line counts as three points. If the shooting player steps on the line, it is counted as two points only.

  5. Crew • The team consists of a maximum 12 players, coach and coach’s assistant. Therecan be only 5 supportingpeople on the substitutebench. This may be, for example: a doctor, masseur, statistician and translator.Duringthe play therecanonly be 5 peoplefromeach team on the court. Substitutionscan be madeonlywith clear referee’spermission. For both men's and women's teams, a standard uniform consists of a pair of shorts and a jersey with a clearly visible number, unique within the team, printed on both the front and back. It is forbidden to have a headgearor jewelry.

Rules of the Game • Basketball is a team sport in which two teams of five players try to score points by throwing or "shooting" a ball through the top of a basketball hoop while following a set of rules. The fair play is controlled by a lead officer and referees. The winner is the teamwhichwill end up the game with more points. Baskets are placed at a height of 3.05 meters. A team can score a field goal by shooting the ball through the hoop during regular play.A field goal scores two points for the shooting team if a player is touching or closer to the hoop than the three-point line, and three points (a "3 pointer") if the player is "outside" the three-point line. The team with more points at the end of the game wins, but additional time (overtime) may be issued when the game ends with a tie.
