  3. BACKGROUND ABOUT THE IDT • Established as a Trust in 1990 • Schedule 2 Public Entity • Regulated by the PFMA • Minister of Public Works as Executive Authority • Board of Trustees as Accounting Authority

  4. Since 1998, the IDT’s role has shifted from that of grant-making agency to The Changed Role of the IDT Programme Implementation Development Planning & Monitoring Integration and Co-ordination
