  5. Departing To Seagull from Rwy 13(2-9) 31R 315o, At 300’ turn right. Maintain 500’ MSL until clear of VFR pattern, then Climb to 2500’ at 150 KIAS ant turn 105o • Rwy 13L primary • Hold short right side of Rwy 4/22 • 125o, 170 KIAS, 500’ MSL to high bridge • Contact Approach, Ch 8 • 105o, 150 KIAS, 2500’ MSL to the beachline 170 KIAS

  7. Seagull North (5-17) • Direct CRP 100/26 (Twin Rigs) – about 040o hdg • At CRP 100/26 “terminate” with approach, turn 040o, contact Seagull on Ch 19 • Passing lowest altitude of block, turn east into your block 60 CRP 60 DME ARC

Seagull North (5-17) • Block x 3 – 2 = base • Block 2 = 4,000-6,000 • Block 3 = 7,000-9,000 • Area Orientation • Limiting Radials • SMA sets CRP 071o • IP sets CRP 100o • 3o buffer for the 100o • Use DME to augment • Pick a radial and fly it…setting CRP 087o allows the 3o buffer from the 100o (077o-097o) 60 CRP 60 DME ARC CRP 60 DME ARC

  9. Seagull North Depart (5-17) • “ABC” or “ACASA” checks • Descend on CRP 100o to cross 100/26 (Twin Rigs) at 1000’ MSL • Direct Shamrock • Terminate approach, request Sunrise transition w/tower 60 CRP 60 DME ARC CRP 60 DME ARC

  10. Terminate with CRP Ch 8 Contact Tower Ch 4, request Sunrise transition SHAMROCK Twin Condos Port Royal Ask your IP to show you the turquoise water tower From the South you turn between the Twin Condos and the Port Royal

  11. 255o to the county line fishing pier (aim at West side on A&M) Climb to 1500’ when cleared for Sunrise Transition

  12. Shamrock to NGW or NGP (3-12) • 255o, 170 KIAS, 1000’ MSL • When cleared Sunrise Transition, climb 1500’ MSL, proceed direct Pt Sunrise

  13. Airline and SPID 255o to County Line Pier W Orange Whataburger is a good aim point

  14. Shamrock to NGW via Pt. Sunrise • Contact NGW tower, Ch 15 at Pt Sunrise • Enter 2 mile wagon wheel @ 1500’ MSL • Descend to 1000’ MSL at 45o initial pt. • Break, configure, descend to 800’ From Shamrock

  16. NGW – NGP via. Pt Sunrise (3-13) • When cleared turn direct Sunrise, 500’ till clear of the pattern, then climb 1000’ • Contact Tower, Ch 4 or 13 • Direct the numbers for 13R • Call the numbers, break and land! 1000’ MSL, 170 KIAS 055o

  17. Departing To Seagull from Rwy 31(2-9) 31R 315o, At 300’ turn right. Maintain 500’ MSL until clear of VFR pattern, then Climb to 2500’ at 150 KIAS ant turn 105o • Rwy 31R primary • 315o, at 300’ turn right to 105o, climb to 2500’ when clear of the pattern. • Contact Approach, Ch 8 • Crossing beachline, fly to the CRP 130/26 170 KIAS

  18. Seagull South (5-17) 60 • Proceed CRP 130/26 • Climb to block, terminate & switch at 26 DME, NLT 33.8 DME • CRP 130o – 156o with 3o Buffer on either side • 33.8-60 DME with tapered “front” CRP 60 DME ARC

  19. S. Seagull - NGW (7-7) • “ACASA” • CRP 156/43 • 270o to Pt. Penascal • 335o to CRP 178/28 at 1500’ • 010o to Chapman • Wagon Wheel 010o 1500’ “Postage Stamp” CRP 178/28 CRP 60 DME ARC 335o 1500’ Hdg 270o

  20. Chapman Ranch Follow Ayers to NGW 010o from the Postage Stamp

  21. NGW to CRP • Request “tower to tower” w/NGW • Depart NGW and climb 800’MSL • Contact CRP on VHF 119.4 (Ch 14 backup) • Expect downwind, base or straight in entry directed by CRP tower

  22. CRP – NGP via NUECES (3-13) • Place Nueces on request w/tower • Proceed to SPID, at 1000’ MSL & 170 KIAS • Contact NGW for advisories • Switch NGP at Pt Sunrise (Ch 4 or 13) • Often downwind entry for Rwy 31L

  23. Other Scenarios • Seagull Central…you have it covered • Seagull to NGP…don’t request Sunrise • Single runway ops (4,17, 31, 35)…check your IFG • NGP to NGW or CRP…place Sunrise or Nueces on request on the ground Questions?
