  1. INTRODUCTION • ONCF – Office National des Chemins de Fer du Maroc - in partnership with EcoleMohamadia of Engineers (EMI) and the Institut de Formation Ferroviaire ( IFF) candidate for organizing in Rabat the 5th WCRT . • ONCF, historical railway operator and leader of high speed train on the African continent , creates with the opening of the line Tangier – Casablanca on 2018, a huge volume of trainings never seen before . • With a campus located in the center of Rabat and created in 1959, EMI is the engineers reference school by excellence . At the begging EMI had 4 majors : Civil engineering , Mineral engineering , Electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. Four another's majors were added to ensure the technical changes which are  : Process engineering , Industrial engineering , computer engineering and modeling and computer sciences . EMI has established partnerships with 50 schools and Universities all around the world (Belgium, Canada, Spain, France, Italy …). • IFF, a subsidiary of ONCF and SNCF, delivers since 2015 trainings to railwaymen of both SNCF and ONCF, as well as other companies, close to EMI. The institute welcomes each year more then 4000 trainees, for continuing education as well as initial training in high speed.

RABAT: A CAPITAL ON THE HUMAN SCALE • On the Atlantic coast, capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, with a million inhabitants, Rabat enjoys a pleasant subtropical climate, very sunny, with maritime influences. The average temperature in April is 25°C. • Its two railway stations (Rabat City and Rabat Agdal) and its modern tram network serving the main areas of the city facilitate travel. A fleet of small taxis with bright blue provides a local service very popular with residents at modest prices (less than 2 euros per race) • A thousand-year-old city whose occupation dates back to Roman times, Rabat has a rich history as evidenced by the Roman-Islamic site of Chellah, the Great Wall, the Mohammed V mausoleum and the ancient Hassan Mosque, the 12th century Kasbah of the Oudeyas dominating the ocean. • With its colorful and lively medina and its town center with representative architecture of the middle of the 20th century, Rabat attracts more and more visitors every year. Rabat is also a modern city in profound mutation: the National Library of Morocco, The Hassan II bridge on the river BouRegreg, the Museum of Modern Art, the Hay Riad business district are the illustration. • The works of the future Grand Theater and the Africa Tower project (the highest on the continent), currently underway, devote the development of the banks of the river

ONCF INVENTS THE MOBILITY OF THE FUTURE • Relying on a century-old rail network linking the country's main cities, ONCF is a major player in mobility in Morocco. • With the opening of the HST between TANGER and KENITRA, ONCF enters the restricted circle of rail operators travelling over 300km/hThis development project is part of the broader framework of the Kingdom's policy of developing sustainable mobility It is accompanied by an unprecedented modernization of infrastructure and rail service : ERTMS 2 on LGV, ETCS1 on a conventional line, double-track or even triple-track (Kenitra - Casablanca), New computerized station for centralized management of the network

ONCF, A LEADING RAILWAY COMPANY ACTIVE ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCENE • A leadership position in Africa and a privileged place in the activities of UIC • At the Regional Assembly of UIC Africa Region in Tripoli, the Director General of ONCF was unanimously elected President of UIC - Africa Region • Convinced of the key role played by the UIC in the standardization and interoperability of the rail system worldwide, the ONCF actively participates in the various events organized under the auspices of the UIC: Technical Committees (Presidency of the Safety Platform »), Steering committees of structuring studies, Training organized at UIC headquarters or in other countries: high speed, security, operating system, .... • The organization of major international events: • International seminars dedicated to rail safety and security. 3rd World Rail Freight Congress (GRFC) 2012, Tangier (250 participants from more than 30 countries) • International seminar "Railways between Past, Present and Future" in 2014 in Marrakech, bringing together senior officials and industrial and academic rail experts from 23 countries. • 5th international conference on stations in Marrakech in 2015 under the theme "Rethinking stations for the intermobility of the future" bringing together industrialists, experts, researchers and academics from 30 countries • 1st edition of the Colloquium: "high speed rail, accelerator of the development of the mobility and the territories", in the presence of experts, institutional and professionals of the world of railroads coming from France, Spain, Germany, Korea, from Turkey, China, Japan and Morocco. • 1st Conference on Sustainable Mobility in 2016 in Casablanca: "Climate issues, which transport systems for tomorrow? ", Brought together policymakers, elected representatives, investors, funders and actors of mobility and public transport. • RABAT capital of railway training in Africa • Responding to the needs of Africanrailwaysoperators – according to UIC-Africadevelopmentskill, ONCF annuallyorganizes in Rabat, trainings on railwaysafety and infrastructure maintenance, to the benefit of variouscompany leaders  : Gabon, IvoryCoast, Sénégal,Burkina Faso, Djibouti, Cameroun, Algéria, Tunisia, Mauritania, Congo and Democratic Republic of Congo.

TECHNICAL VISITS Offered to limited groups for a better experience, it will be available upon registration. • Discovery of high speed by a trip from Rabat to Tangier with visit of the maintenance center of high speed trains • IFF educational facilities – practical work rooms - driving simulator • New station of Rabat Agdal • Centralized control station of Rabat (computer station with the most recent standard)
