Cross over the bridge.A lot of people wish to cross the Golden Gate Bridge. In fact, it is an amazing experience. If it's not cloudy there's an amazing perspective of the city's of the skyline when you walk across the bridge. It's a fantastic spot to take iconic San Francisco pictures. It is important to have a jacket on because it's typically cold in this part in the center of San Francisco. Also, be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes since walking across the bridge takes about 1 mile each way.

Bicycles over the bridge.One of the most well-known ways for tourists to travel to on the opposite side is to hire a bicycleand then ride it to the opposite side. Bicycle rentals are available all over Fisherman's Wharf for around $8/hour or $32 for a day. Be aware that it's typically cold and cold on the bridge, so wearing a jacket is a good option.On the other side of the bridge are tiny parking areas that offer views of the Bay Ocean, the Bay, along with the Marin Headlands.
