Exercise Design Objectives • Onsite Incident Management: Assess the ability of the EDS Manager to establish and maintain Incident Command during EDS operations in accordance with the EDS Plan and NIMS • Emergency Public Safety and Security: Demonstrate the ability of security personnel to establish and maintain security operations at the EDS in accordance with the EDS Plan. • Mass Prophylaxis: Evaluate the ability of EDS staff to set-up, operate and demobilize an EDS during a biological terrorism incident in accordance with their EDS Plan.

  7. Exercise Design Objectives • Communications: Demonstrate the ability of EDS staff and response personnel to activate and maintain communications during a biological terrorism incident in accordance with the EDS Plan and NIMS. • Medical Supply Management and Distribution: Assess the ability of EDS staff to obtain, secure and manage medical supplies and materiel at the EDS in accordance with the EDS Plan. • Emergency Public Information and Warning: Assess the ability of [Your Agency] to develop, coordinate and disseminate public information during a biological terrorism incident in accordance with the EDS Plan.
