ETS/ITS • ETS (OMS 1999) ITS • Principal vía de transmisión son las relaciones sexuales. • Si no recibe tratamiento aumenta hasta 10 veces el riesgo de infección y transmisión del VIH. • En Chile, las ITS están reguladas: • Código Sanitario, • Reglamento sobre ITS • Normas de Manejo y Tratamiento de las Infecciones de Transmisión Sexual.

  4. ITS según año ingreso y sexo. 55,5% mujeres 44,5% hombres

  5. 57% tiene estudios educación Media. 15% estudios superiores. ITS según escolaridad

Conclusiones • Las UNACESS cumplen importante función en mantener bajo control las ITS a nivel nacional. • Las ITS se presentan en casos aislados en personas que ejercen el comercio sexual. • Las ITS se presentan por levemente más frecuente en mujeres que en hombre. • Las ITS más prevalentes en mujeres son: • Condilomas: 68,5% • Herpes Genital: 71,8% • Tricomoniasis: 100% • Las ITS más prevalentes en hombres son: • Gonorrea: 91,5% • UNG: 91% • VIH: 87,5% • Las personas aun teniendo más de 8 años de estudios, desconocen la existencia de ITS y los riesgos de tener actividad sexual sin condón.
