  1. Introduction This PowerPoint was created for a unit plan over nutrition. It is titled, “ Nutrition Review”. It was developed for students at the high school level. The goal of the “Nutrition Review” was to assess their knowledge about nutrition. It was used as a pre and post assessment during the nutrition unit. It is a good way to assess both the students’ prior knowledge and the knowledge the students gained from the unit. The review asks questions about many different topics. Some topics included are: the food pyramid, nutrients/vitamins, food labels, lifestyles/diets, and eating disorders. These are all topics covered within the unit.
