Summary • The P802.15 Plenary & Interim Meetings can be more effective • I suggest the following Session changes • Start at 8:00a vs. 8:30a and making the work day 7 hours long vs. 6.5 hours • Deleting Full WG Meetings other than First Day/Last Day. • Requires a rule change, I think Ian Gifford, M/A-COM, Inc.

Working Group Standard Procedures • The following list describes the normal content and operations of Plenary and Interim P802.15 meetings. • 1. Typical Plenary Session = ExCom, WG or Joint WGs • 3 Full WG’s and 1 Joint .11/.15 Meeting • The 8:00a start times suggest that the WG consider 8:00a I submit that we adopt 8:00a start time for the Plenary & Interim Meetings • BTW we lose 7 hours to WG and net 16 hours for Sub WGs during Plenary Session! SuggestedPlenary Session = ExCom, WG or Joint WGs  = • 2 Full WG’s and 1 Joint .11/.15 Meeting • Start at 8:00a and then we will have 3.5 hours in the morning & afternoon yielding 7 hours per day or 24.5 hours for the week. • We then assign up to 5.5 hours to the WG and net 19 hours for the sub WGs Ian Gifford, M/A-COM, Inc.

  14. Interim Meeting #4 Tel-Aviv - Current = WG or Joint WGs • 3 hours in the morning and 3.5 hours in the afternoon yields 6.5 hours per day or 26 hours for the four (4) day week. • We lost 5 hours to the WG therefore we netted 21 hours for the sub WGs Ian Gifford, M/A-COM, Inc.

  15. Interim Meeting#4 Tel-Aviv - New = WG or Joint WGs  = • Starting at 8a would be 7 hours per day or 28 hours for the four (4) day week. • We can give up 5.5 hours to the WG therefore we net 22.5 hours for the sub WGs Ian Gifford, M/A-COM, Inc.

Conclusion • P802.15 Formally adopt new Plenary Session • 4 Day/24.5 Hours (Slide 8) • P802.15 Formally adopt new Interim Meeting • 5 Day/30 Hours (Slide 11) • 4 Day/28 Hours (Slide 12) • This is accomplished by a P802.15 rules change • Opening at 8:00a and closing at 5:00p • Deleting Full WG Meetings other than First Day/Last Day. • Might want to review 802.11 Issues • Joint Meeting - Moving to Monday late morning slot (Slot #2) during Plenary and Interim Meetings might be more effective than Wed • Joint Tutorial Slot(s) - Coordinate to offset parallelisms e.g., avoid issues in Sponsor Ballot by providing first hand information 2Way • Coordinate serial Opening/Closing Meetings to offset parallelisms e.g., if parallel Members will have a hard time attending open/close of each others Full WG Meetings Ian Gifford, M/A-COM, Inc.
