  2. Introduction They research, design, develop, test, manufacture and sell equipment. Mechanical engineering is the second largest and one of the oldest disciplines. I am interested in Mechanical Engineering because you can make a lot of money and you can explore things that you don’t know. I will be researching about how cars work and things you need to know about a car.

  3. Nature of work Analyze, design, develop, and maintain products. Assist in identifying and organizing requirements. Build prototypes, products, and systems for testing. Design testing procedures and coordinate testing. Train and support clients and field representatives.

  4. Working Conditions Mechanical Engineering is physical and mental. Most of Mechanical work is done indoor. Most Mechanical Engineering work is done in offices. It takes 10 hours per day for you to finish your daily job.

  5. Education You usually need a university degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field of engineering. I plan on going to Michigan State University for Mechanical Engineering. I will take physics and calculus classes.

  6. Job Outlook Mechanical Engineers unemployment is as only as 2.0%. The employment rate is rising. I want to find this career in Michigan.

  7. Money $ My lifestyle goals are to have a family, 2 kids, to have a job, to have a house and have a car. My average earning will be more than $50.000. I think the money that I will be making will be able to support my goals. My first purchase would be to buy a car.

  8. Related Occupation My backup career would be working with Apple. Responsibilities for working with apple are to treat and respect their costumers. They pay you $12 dollar per hour. I chose this because you can make a lot of money and it isn't a hard job.

  9. Summary I feel very happy with the career that I chose. I look forward to work on projects and meet new people. My least favorite thing is that I am going to be tired every day except the weekends.
