  1. District Engineering Intern At SDG&E Steven Prsha NSF Grant # DUE0653277 Electrical Engineering San Diego State University Introduction Projects • Power Quality • -Voltage recorders are used to observe issues regarding a SDG&E customers’ power. • I programmed each individual voltage recorder according to the customers’ configuration. • The results help evaluate the issue . They allow engineers to determine if a problem exists • and how we address the issue to ensure customers have safe and reliable energy • -Reliability Presentations are given to improve overall system reliability • I was involved in presenting and observing presentations on how to improve reliability to • SDG&E customers. • Customer Service • - I contacted SDG&E customers regarding concerns or issues they were experiencing. • Customers called asking questions about outages, or a particular voltage issue • they were experiencing at home San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) is a regulated public utility that provides service to 3.4 million people through 1.4 million electric meters and 830,000 natural gas meters in San Diego and southern Orange counties.
