  7. Math Connections • Show how math is connected in every field of study. • Point out how math is used in sports, newspapers, the foods we eat, etc. • Connect math to the wonders of nature.

  9. Math Language • Numeracy is shared by all humans- across continents & time. • Math helps people make better daily decisions. • Adding costs is the same process whether in dollars, yen, or rubles.

  10. Math Across the Curriculum • Point out math ideas and concepts. • Link math into daily lessons. • Make math a normal part of the school day, even when not in math class.
