  2. What I Already Know • I already know that Lyme Disease was carried by ticks and that was how it got to humans. • I also knew that Lyme Disease could also cause serious problems and affect the body for only a short period with less serious injuries.

  3. What I Want to Know • The effects of Lyme Disease • When you know you have it? • What medications help it? • Can you work when you have it? • Can it kill you?

  4. What I Learned • I have learned that the effects of Lyme Disease depend on if you have the short term disease the chronic disease or are not affected at all. • You know you have Lyme Disease when you get rashes starting at the tick bite then working their way to all over your body and when you are easily tired and drowsy. • Lyme Disease is a bacteria so normal antibiotics can help rid of it. • I also learned that it is usually not fatal.

  5. The Story of My Search • During my searching career I have learned the valuable lessons of Delicious. I have learned that you always should save an important article or site that you like and want to use. • I have also learned that you should always use your bib card instead of just looking for the title of your book because if you use everything on the bib card it makes it so much easier.

  6. Results Of My Search • During my search I began by not really knowing how to use Power Library, MLA format, or Delicious. I eventually began to learn the steps of all these things and I now think I am better.

  7. My Growth As A Researcher • I feel I have gotten better as a researcher because I understand how to use delicious now to tag things and save links. I also think I am a better researcher because I now know how to us the Power Library, SIRS Discoverer, and EBSCOhost better.
