The relative change in FCR due to CoRouge® usage was calculated. Combining the average supply of copper from CoRouge® and the energetic values of the feeds, the estimated matrix CoRouge® was obtained. So, for a dosage of copper between 100 and 150ppm (133ppm CoRouge® to 200ppm CoRouge®), the recommended estimated values are: values of CoRouge® estimated values for 100ppm copper (133mg of CoRouge® / kg of feed): Digestible energy: 75 kcal Metabolism energy: 70 kcal Net energy: 50 kcal CoRouge® estimated values for 1kg of product into the feed: Digestible energy: 564 000 kcal Metabolism energy: 530 000 kcal Net energy: 376 000 kcal Conclusion CoRouge® specific mode of action on fat digestibility opens new possibilities to decrease feed energetic values to optimize feeding costs.
