  14. The Arizona Solar Roadmap….a look back Long before other solar roadmaps were developed, AriSEIA was working on a “Solar Plan” for Arizona….. This plan included creating an incentive structure, eliminating roadblocks, and in general promoting greater use of solar energy in Arizona.

  15. …….Legislative Accomplishments Sales tax exemption Residential Solar Tax Credit Property tax exemptions Commercial tax credit Solar Rights for Homeowners

  16. Regulatory Affairs Deregulation & the Solar Portfolio Standard Environmental Portfolio Standard Renewable Energy Standard & Tariff

  17. Solar Rights for Homeowners Legislation - strengthen Arizona's existing statute Education - outreach to HOA’s and those who manage them. Litigation- - find homeowners will install solar and allow themselves to be sued by their HOA

  20. Air Quality Benefits Pollution free electricity & water heating. One solar water heating system avoids the equivalent emissions of driving 6,540 miles, a 3 KW PV avoids the emissions of 9,369 miles of driving. The average solar swimming pool heating system avoids the production of 10,000 pounds of emissions.
