  1. iKart -- Resume the Battery form Fault If the Battery overdischarges the BCS board will drive a soft shutdown of the iKart motherboard. Chances are that the Battery will go in protection state. Here we will describe how to RESET the battery so that functionality can be restored.

  2. Disconnect the main battery connector. Probe the battery voltage. If the battery is in protection state, you will read anything between 5 – 20 VDC Normal working value are 45 – 53 VDC

  3. Push and hold the Battery Reset Button Keep the reset button depressed for 5 – 10 seconds. With the main connector unplugged, probe the battery again. The voltage should now read the correct value: 45 – 53 VDC

  4. Make sure all iKart switch are “OFF” ...as shown in picture above

  5. Reconnect the battery main connector and wait 10 secs. The RED and BLUE LEDs on the BCS board should start blinking again. The voltage as read on the should read the nominal value. If the battery goes in “Protection State” again, repeat the whole procedure. Make sure your battery is properly charged.
