The purpose of this partner training The purpose of this 2-part partner training series is to provide Microsoft partners who are enrolled in the Software Assurance Planning Services program, or who are considering enrolling, with important program value and execution guidance, as well as clarify the voucher life cycle and the various process steps associated with Microsoft customer’s use of their Software Assurance Planning Services benefits.

  6. What is a Planning Services engagement? Structured planning engagements that enable efficient deployments, upgrades or migrations for applications, system and server products, and cloud services Helps customers augment and reinforce their own IT staff’s planning efforts Content built on years of best practices learned by Microsoft and its partners Service levels are 1, 3, 5, 10, or 15 days in duration, resulting in “A Plan” Exclusive to Software Assurance, benefit determined by customers’ total qualifying licenses

  10. Eligibility requirements for Planning Services partners Certification criteria varies by PS offering Only qualified partners deliver PS engagements Read the Partner Eligibility Requirements Visit the SA Planning Services Partner Portal for program details

Eligibility requirements for Planning Services partners • A Microsoft Competency is required by the organization for every PS offering, except AZDPS. • Consultant requirements are based on specified exam attainment and vary by PS offering • Each certified delivery consultant must have associated their Microsoft Account (WLID) and linked their Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credentials to the partner company’s MPN Location ID that is registered for each Planning Services offering. Partner Eligibility Requirements NOTE: There is no separate Planning Services offering for engagements related to Office 365. Partners are required to be familiar with what Office 365 activities their particular Planning Services offering will support within an engagement.

  12. How eligible partners enroll in Planning Services 5 easy steps Review the “Partner Quick Guide” (Slide #4) for details on MPN Membership restrictions and renewal. Visit the MPN Competency Roadmap for details on competency changes. Start Here: SA Planning Services Program Page on MPN 4 1 2 3 5 When Organization enrolls, all Locations are enrolled. Membership in Planning Services must be renewed annually after Competency renewal Only associated individuals with a “Program Contact Role” in MPN can access VVR tool

  13. Enrollment Steps 1-2: Select A Program • Go to: SA Planning Services Program Page on MPN • Select a PS offering and click “ENROLL”

  14. Enrollment Step 3: Sign in to MPN • Click “Sign In” to log in with your Microsoft Account

  15. Enrollment Step 4: Accept T&C’s • Click “View” to Review & Accept the Terms & Conditions

  16. Enrollment Step 5: Opt-In • Opt-in to your program by clicking “Enroll” • You may Opt-in to other programs for which you are eligible
