  7. The Challenge • More people want control of their lives, their funding, services and supports • Yet only 200 people sharing management with 14 Disability Sector Organisations • We need to develop our capacity to provide people with greater control, support and safeguards

  8. Project priorities • Support the sector to work with people in this way. • Clarify of technical and legal issues (such as employment of staff, taxation, insurance) • Develop the knowledge and skills of service providers, individuals and families in self direct services and supports
