What is a mav
What is a MAV?

  • Also known as UAVs, Micro Air Vehicles (MAVs) are unmanned air vehicles capable of being flown remotely from either short or long range distances. The purpose of flight can range from recreational use to military use in missions such intelligence gathering or scouting for hazardous obstacles.

Mavs and you
MAVs and You

  • The innovative nature of MAVs for their size and ever increasing capabilities allows us to reflect on the fact that the engineering field is always changing and moving forward in technological advances that shape the world we live in today.

  • This fact alone puts us (students) into the mindset that we must continue to learn throughout our academic career and beyond; thus preparing us for the time in which we too will continue to innovate and become pioneers in future engineering projects and ideas in the years to come.

What does this say about us
What does this say about us?

That the future is bright, very bring. This is just the beginning in our engineering endeavors, and as we continue to strive for success we too may someday leave our mark in history as the Wright Brothers did many years ago.

Keys to success
Keys to Success

  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering principals and design, as well as all material covered in class.

  • Teamwork!

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”

    -Henry Ford
