Who We Are and What We Do • Lead strategic agency in London advocating for Disability Equality in Sport • London partner of English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) • Influence those who govern sport to view disabled people as equals • Support those who provide sport to turn their commitment to equality into a reality • Enable disabled people to view being active as a viable lifestyle opportunity for them • Place disabled people at the heart of sport in London

  5. Adoption • “Simple and Relative” • Agreement to principals of ‘Inclusive and Active 2’ • Creation of Action Plan • Sign off and confirmation of adoption from governance or leadership level.

After Adoption Immediate Mid-Term Long-Term • Letter of Recognition • Press Release • Inclusion Advisor support • Disability Equality Training (Until March 2012) • Club Resource Pack • Database • 6 month and Annual Reviews • Inclusion Advisor Support Resulting in a cultural change that creates a sustainable long-term difference in the way that the organisation operates towards providing opportunities and choice for disabled people in sport and physical activity.

How I&A2 Inclusion Advisers work • Understand issues each agency face and work with them to identify solutions • Research and identify appropriate systems and procedures for agencies to use • Strategically educate agencies various areas • Sounding board for agencies • Provide contacts, signpost and broker relationships • Action plans on a 6-month and annual basis
