  2. During the Holocaust- • Children were hidden in orphanages, cellars, attics, chicken coops or with another family with a fake identity.

  3. Bunkers • Some of the hiding places were called “bunkers”.

  4. Hiding places • In 1942, building bunkers/hiding places became popular.

  5. Hiding children • Some children could pass as Aryan and could live with another family. • Orphanages and churches would take in the children. • Other children hid in barns and chicken coops.
