This building served as the city hall of Frankfurt and dates back to almost 600 years. Contemporarily the Romer building serves different purposes ranging from a civil registration office, wedding halls to plaza. This historical building occupies a total area of 10000 sq meters and comprises a series of nine houses encircled by six courtyards. The interiors and the rooms of some building remain unchanged even today, the most notable room is the room of the Romer, Emperor Hall located above Romerhalle. The Kaisersaal is also notable for its distinct and unique style of architecture from the 19th century including famous works of Ferdinand III and Eduard Von Steinle of Albert I.

  5. Frankfurt Cathedral: Frankfurt Cathedral also known as the Imperial Cathedral of Saint Bartholomew is located right at the heart of Frankfurt am Main.
