Getting Ready for Bariatric Surgery

Getting ready for Bariatric surgery does need preparation as we really want that surgery should be done in the safest possible circumstances for you. First and foremost is your motivation for surgery. Once we are happy that you understand the surgical process and the care needed afterwards we will ask you to undergo pre-operative evaluation. Prior to the surgery, you would undergo evaluation by the Surgery team and Anaesthetists. Sometimes if you suffer from heart or lung problems you may also need evaluation by a Heart or Lung specialist to make sure you are in the best shape for surgery.
