As far as recreational marijuana was concerned, the u201cMedical and Adult-Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Actu201d passed combined the regulation of recreational and medical marijuana. Thus, California Marijuana Laws allows and regulates the use of cannabis and its cultivation, distribution, testing, manufacturing, transportation, and dispensary requiring due permits from state and local agencies. From January 1, 2018, temporary licenses were made available.
