Why people need cell phone cover?

When mobile phones were first attractive famous device back in the 90's, not several people had mobile phone covers. And, as far as we know all it was a type of luxury to have a mobile let alone a cell with a protective cover. But earlier, there was no need for mobile phone covers as because the phone was hardy that time and they did not have a touch screen and all that. But presently, mobile cover plays an important role. Most of the phones are today android and smart type and they all have touch screen. To protect those phones, an individual definitely need a cover.
