Dr Thomas Taylor Houston has built a strong reputation in the field of academic surgery. As an undergraduate student, he studied at the University of Manchester and the University of Edinburgh. After his graduation and residency, he became an Assistant Lecturer in Anatomy at the University of Manchester. He was invited to come to the United States by Dr. Michael DeBakey of Baylor College.
