When he is not busy with his work as a teaching professor at the University of Oslo, Niko Shefer likes to spend as much of his spare time as possible hiking. He enjoys the serenity that is offered by a good hike in a remote area and he often finds that his walks help him to clear his mind so that he can approach his work with renewed vigor.
